Mr. Vaisman has specialized in folk rhythms of South America and traditional tango.
Born and raised in the province of Entre Ríos, in the Argentine Mesopotamia, he initially dedicated himself to the music of the coast and studied accordion. Twenty years later, he left his native province to settle in Buenos Aires, where he perfected himself as a musician and choir director. In the Argentine capital he also began to devote himself to the so-called town music, ie tango.
In New York he has worked with Bernardo Palombo, Luis Alberto de Mozos, The Villalobos Brothers, Marta Gómez, Reinaldo Reyes, Cuti y Roberto Carabajal, Francisco “Pancho” Navarro, Mariela Marcó, Horacio Martínez, Sonia de Los Santos, Sofia Tosello, Alexey Peshkovsky, Franco Pina, Barry Kornhauser, Cecilia Pahl, Federico Díaz, Nilko Andreas, Julio Santillán, and innumerable singers at the “peñas” of the tri-state area.

He has also composed incidental music for theater pieces and several directors have invited him to perform live in during their shows due to his versatility with different musical instruments: accordion, piano and guitar.
When he is not making music, he enjoys time with his family, works in the garden and prepares “asados” which he shares with his friends.
